Dr. Marina Rasnow-Hill
Hello. My name is Dr. Marina Rasnow-Hill. My career, interests and expertise do not fit in a typical box or category. I am a western-trained medical doctor whose own health journey has inspired me to seek and develop a more holistic, natural, and individualized approach to chronic disease management and health promotion than is traditionally found in standardized health care.
I enjoy thinking outside the box and partnering with my patients to come up with a plan for achieving optimal health. I enjoy using the varied tools in my arsenal to help achieve this, including acupuncture, Traditional Chinese medicine, and a structured Functional Medicine approach to health and disease. I believe that lifestyle and environment are at the root of most illness and believe that healing and improving health begins with addressing these first. Of course there often may be a role for adjunctive treatments such as acupuncture, herbs and/or supplements as well as conventional pharmacologic therapy but I believe it is a very rare instance when a long-term pill is the answer to what ails us.
